Welding Consultants and Inspections offer a wide range of quality
services. Quality work in all of our services is what we personally
expect and what we provide our clients. We offer three types of welding
services; Consulting, Inspections,
& Training and Testing. Below
are explanations of these type of services.
Consulting can take many forms and Downeast Welding Consultants and Inspections
works in a great number of these. A consultant can be a mentor to many
people ranging from the purchasing department who is tasked with writing
the orders correctly to the engineer that must detail job specifications
properly. The consultant then can train the crafts people and monitor
the work. He performs surveillance on all contractors and provides
the final documentation to the 3rd party inspectors and the clients.
A consultant will use his experience and knowledge to make your job
easier and successful.
We have the advantage of having an inspector with three decades of experience.
He has the qualifications to perform inspections using his experience
and knowledge of the code and jurisdictional requirements that you
as a client must meet. The value of the experience and knowledge are
realized when it is time to understand what the intent of the code
is in order to make the final interpretation of any given circumstance.
These abilities lend themselves to vendor surveillance off site, the
field weld inspections on site and NDE inspections.
Training and Testing
Years of experience permit us to present a valuable service to our clients.
Training and Testing is a cost saving tool that is difficult to measure
but is invaluable to a person who is conscious of the waste of funds
with high rejection rates for poor quality work. We can design programs
that are tailored to your individual needs and that will satisfy whatever
standards you must meet. We want you to take advantage of our knowledge
and eliminate unnecessary delays in attaining acceptable results in
your quality of work.
