Consulting
Consulting can take many forms and Downeast Welding Consultants and Inspections
works in a great number of these. A consultant can be a mentor to many
people ranging from the purchasing department who is tasked with writing
the orders correctly to the engineer that must detail job specifications
properly. The consultant then can train the crafts people and monitor
the work. He performs surveillance on all contractors and provides
the final documentation to the 3rd party inspectors and the clients.
A consultant will use his experience and knowledge to make your job
easier and successful.

Inspections
We have the advantage of having an inspector with three decades of experience.
He has the qualifications to perform inspections using his experience
and knowledge of the code and jurisdictional requirements that you
as a client must meet. The value of the experience and knowledge are
realized when it is time to understand what the intent of the code
is in order to make the final interpretation of any given circumstance.
These abilities lend themselves to vendor surveillance off site, the
field weld inspections on site and NDE inspections.
